The DNA kit fund was created for those who cannot afford a DNA kit or the research, but whose lives will be forever changed by knowing their biological roots.
To date, the fund has aided seven adoptees find their biological parents. Often circumstances, especially in todays economical climate, means that the expense of a DNA kit, accompanied with professional research is out of reach. We currently have a waiting list and would ask you to please give a small donation to this worthy cause. Your donations help purchase the kits and we provide the research.
Biological identity
Knowing who you are and where you come from should be a fundamental right. At Coast Place we believe passionately that knowing your ethnicity and finding biological family, even extended family such as cousins, can help adoptees lead more fulfilled lives with a greater sense of belonging.
